Job summary

The Restaurant Store is seeking a Front End Associate at Clark Associates, Inc.'s Reading, PA location to deliver high-level customer service at the front of the store. You will handle cashier duties, assist customers, and be the first point of contact for in-store and phone inquiries.

This role supports checkout operations, returns, memberships, and collaborates with branch leadership to support sales, merchandising and inventory goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, efficient front-end customer service and ensure a smooth checkout experience
• Consistently achieve high levels of point-of-sale transactions on a daily basis
• Assist customers with accurate register transactions, including cash handling and membership verification, as well as loading purchases into customer vehicles
• Process customer returns and ensure items are restocked appropriately
• Expedite customer flow through checkout lanes to minimize wait times
• Serve as the first point of contact for incoming phone calls, providing prompt assistance or directing inquiries
• Guide customers within the store and answer questions about policies, memberships, pricing, and general inquiries
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of checkout lanes, registers, carts, and the front area of the location
• Refill and merchandise impulse products at the front end to support sales
• Perform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth location operations and alignment with overall business goals
