Job summary

The role requires reading, writing and speaking English, basic math, physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, and the ability to work varied shifts while upholding company standards of safety and service.

Qualifications

• Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs. occasionally and work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way.

Responsibilities

• Greet Customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance.
• Enter customer information for eligibility in Wakefern programs where applicable.
• Operate cash register and handle payments, including cash, credit and checks.
• Maintain a clean, neat, safe work environment and follow company policies.
• Assist with product knowledge, shelf replenishment and basic store duties.
