Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Front End Manager to support store operations and leadership in Greensboro, NC. You will oversee Service Center, Self-Checkout and To-Go services, hire and train associates, and drive customer satisfaction while meeting sales goals.

You will lead the front end team, ensure proper scheduling, maintain equipment, and uphold safety and quality standards across the department, aligning with Food Lion policies.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage a team.
• Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising techniques preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated good judgment solving problems and handling complaints.

Responsibilities

• Manage all Front End operations including Service Center and Self-Checkout.
• Hire, train, and develop associates to meet department needs.
• Supervise performance and conduct formal appraisals for direct reports.
• Provide leadership to promote a culture reflecting Brand, Strategy and Culture.
• Support achievement of budgeted financials and KPIs.
• Ensure a friendly customer experience and fast, easy service.
• Maintain store expenses and proper ordering of supplies.
• Ensure front end schedules and training are maintained.
• Maintain front end registers and equipment; troubleshoot issues.
• Monitor shrink and coach associates to prevent losses.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Complete CBT and Training guide as required.
