Job summary

The Charter Hotel Seattle is seeking a Front Desk Agent to greet guests, register arrivals, coordinate reservations, and resolve guest requests with courtesy. You will maintain accurate records, handle confidential information, and support the front desk team to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or related experience, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to outstanding service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or 1–3 months related experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Good leadership and training abilities.

Responsibilities

• Books guest reservations and coordinates with reservation center.
• Registers guests into the hotel and up-sells to maximize room rates.
• Greets, registers, and assigns rooms to guests.
• Handles confidential information with integrity.
• Answers and routes calls; takes guest messages accurately.
• Resolves minor guest complaints and informs supervisor of major issues.
• Responds quickly to guest requests or complaints and follows up to ensure satisfaction.
