Shaner Hotels’ Fairfield by Marriott Dayton Downtown is seeking a motivated Front Desk Supervisor to lead the front desk team, ensure seamless check-ins/check-outs, and uphold Marriott brand standards in a fast-paced environment.

You'll supervise daily operations, coach staff, handle guest requests, and maintain a welcoming, professional lobby area while delivering outstanding service and maintaining high performance and teamwork.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have hotel or hospitality experience with supervisory or leadership experience.
• Dependable, professional, approachable and a willingness to take initiative.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with excellent customer service.
• Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Front Desk Agents during daily operations.
• Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to all guests.
• Assist with check-ins, check-outs, reservations, payments, and guest requests.
• Address and resolve guest concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Train, coach, and support Front Desk team members.
• Review daily arrivals, departures, VIPs, groups, and special requests.
• Communicate with other departments and management.
• Maintain records and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Ensure brand standards are upheld and the Front Desk area is organized.
• Lead by example and promote a positive team environment.
