AC Portland Downtown, part of Sage Hospitality Group, is seeking a Front Desk Agent to greet guests, manage reservations, and ensure outstanding service in a dynamic hotel setting in Portland, OR. The role emphasizes professional, courteous interaction and efficient front desk operations.

The position requires strong cash handling, guest relations, and teamwork skills, with opportunities for growth within Sage Hospitality Group.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of full-time experience in a related role preferred.
• Understanding of hotel front office procedures and cash handling.

Responsabilités

• Supervise front desk operations to ensure high-quality service.
• Train and guide front desk staff; resolve issues and coach team members.
• Respond to guest inquiries and provide accurate information on reservations and hotel services.
• Process check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
• Handle guest accounts and ensure accurate billing and night-end procedures.
• Answer inquiries and upsell room nights to increase occupancy and revenue.
• Maintain customer relations with timely responses to in-house and external guests.
• Operate PBX equipment and manage wake-up calls and paging services.
• Control cash transactions in line with hotel policy and perform duties as assigned.
