Job summary

Portland Regency Hotel & Spa in Portland, Maine, seeks a Front Office Supervisor to lead daily operations of Front Desk, Night Audit, Guest Services, Bell/Door/Valet, and Overnight Security/Valet. You will coach staff, ensure service standards, handle guest concerns, and maintain knowledge of Opera Cloud PMS, Silverware POS, and SynXis.

This hands-on role requires hospitality leadership, strong communication, and the ability to stay calm under pressure while delivering exceptional guest

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality, hotel, or Front Office experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• PBX experience preferred.
• Opera PMS experience preferred.
• Computers with Word/Excel skills helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, train Front Office and Guest Services team members.
• Oversee Front Desk Supervisors, Guest Service Agents, Night Auditors, and related roles.
• Maintain knowledge of Opera Cloud PMS, Silverware POS and SynXis booking systems.
• Manage reservations, rate controls, and inventory across channels.
• Support staffing, communication, and service standards across the department.
• Prepare incident reports and assist with Night Audit when needed.
