Job summary

Providence Marriott Downtown is seeking a Front Desk Supervisor to lead shift operations, supervise Front Desk and At Your Service associates, and ensure outstanding guest service. You will handle check-ins/outs, respond to reservations inquiries, and support rate strategies with Revenue Manager and Sales.

As the service hub for the hotel, you will promote guest and employee satisfaction, enforce SOPs, and facilitate smooth shift changes while mentoring team members to deliver superior service.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel front desk operations and guest service
• Ability to supervise and train front desk staff
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with SOPs and LSOPs in hotel operations

Responsibilities

• Overlap shift operations of Front Desk and AYS, ensuring smooth check-in/out
• Train and supervise Front Desk and AYS associates
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests for reservations and services
• Support rate strategies with Revenue Manager and Sales
• Maintain service standards and guest satisfaction metrics
• Coordinate shift changes and communicate updates to team
• Operate hotel PMS and reservation systems to manage requests
