Allied Universal is seeking a Front Desk Security Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for access control and security monitoring at our client sites in Ventura, CA. The role focuses on credentialing, visitor management, and maintaining security desk operations while delivering professional and courteous service.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in security, strong English communication, and experience with access control systems, monitoring tools, and incident reporting.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate/bachelor’s preferred in related field.
• 2+ years of experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related field.
• Experience in front desk operations, customer service, or access control management.
• Experience with security monitoring systems and access control platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the front desk security point of contact, monitoring and managing access control systems, employee/contractor badge creation and programming.
• Greet and authenticate visitors, contractors, and personnel, verifying identities and credentials prior to granting facility or system access.
• Monitor and respond to incoming access requests, security alerts, and notifications through access control management systems and email.
• Coordinate with on-site security personnel, Security Operations Manager, and law enforcement to respond to incidents.
• Enforce facility security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and customer requirements.
• Issue, track, and manage badges and temporary access credentials in coordination with on-site personnel.
• Provide clear and professional communication regarding security protocols and access procedures.
• Maintain security logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports accurately and timely.
• Support development and improvement of security desk procedures and SOPs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
