Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer at our Los Angeles, CA location to serve as the welcoming front desk presence. You will manage visitor sign-in, access control, badge issuance, and provide exceptional customer service to tenants and personnel.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $21.10 per hour. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, pass background checks and drug screening, and be comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Experience with front desk procedures and badge management preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, front desk policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and authorization, manage visitor sign-in processes, and direct guests to appropriate offices or building areas.
• Monitor access to the lobby and other entry points, issue visitor credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Maintain accurate front desk logs, incident reports, and records of visitor activity, deliveries, and security-related communications.
