Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer for the Full Time Reception Credential Desk in Glendale, CA. You will provide a welcoming, professional presence at a premier commercial location, support access-control procedures, monitor security systems, and communicate clearly to help maintain an orderly environment.

The position emphasizes customer service, incident response, and teamwork with site contacts.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, maintain visitor logs, and support access-control procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor entry activity, respond to inquiries, and communicate relevant information to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
