Job summary

National Vision is seeking a friendly Receptionist to greet customers, manage patient records, and keep the front desk organized in Strongsville, OH. You will assist with scheduling, phone support, and basic information delivery to visitors.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years related experience or training preferred.
• Experience handling multiple phone lines preferred.
• Strong organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality customer service while following safety protocols.
• Maintain smooth flow of customers through the store.
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls per National Vision protocol.
• Process and understand managed care plans; obtain information from insurers as needed.
• Provide customers basic and accurate information.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, follow-up visits and classes.
• File patient records daily and pull files for next day’s appointments.
• Check order status and notify customers of delays.
• Keep reception area tidy and stocked with necessary materials.
• Sort daily mail/deliveries and maintain office supply inventory.
• Participate in scheduled mandatory meetings.
