Job summary

National Vision in Strongsville, OH is seeking a friendly Part-time Receptionist to greet customers, manage calls, and support daily front desk operations. You will help keep patient records organized and ensure a smooth flow of appointments, inquiries, and communications throughout the store.

Experience in a reception or front office role is preferred but not required; 0–2 years of related experience or training is acceptable.

Qualifications

• Receptionist/front office experience preferred but not required.
• 0–2 years related experience or training preferred.
• Experience handling multiple phone lines preferred.
• Strong organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high quality customer service while following safety protocols.
• Ensure a smooth flow of customers through the store.
• Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls in accordance with National Vision protocol.
• Process and understand managed care plans while obtaining document information from the insurance company as needed.
• Provide customers with basic and accurate information.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, follow-up visits and classes.
• File all patient records daily and pull patient files for the next day's appointments.
• Check order status and notify customers when orders are in or of any delays.
• Keep reception area tidy and presentable with all necessary materials.
• Receive, sort, distribute daily mail/deliveries and maintain inventory of office supplies.
• Participate in regularly scheduled mandatory communication meetings.
