Optima Medical is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to join our team in a patient‑facing role. You will verify insurance, collect copays, and manage phones and messaging to keep our front desk running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have medical front office experience, strong communication, and a team‑oriented attitude. This on‑site position emphasizes accuracy, multitasking, and friendly patient service.

Qualifications

• 1 year of medical front office experience preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience required.
• Experience with EMR systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented with a positive, team-focused attitude.
• Multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• HS diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance coverage.
• Collect past due balances and copayments upon checking in.
• Answer phones and relay messages.

Front Desk Receptionist Responsibilities:

• Verify insurance coverage
• Collect past due balances and copayments upon checking in

Front Desk Receptionist Qualifications:

• 1yr Medical Front Office (Preferred)
• 1yr Customer services experience (Required)
