Advanced Surgical Care of New Tampa is hiring a Front Desk Receptionist

Welcome to Advanced Surgical Care of New Tampa
Advanced Surgical Care of New Tampa is a state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center that provides the highest quality healthcare.

Position Responsibilities:

  1. The Front Desk Receptionist interfaces with patients and families, physicians, and staff.
  2. Admits patients and processes their paperwork.
  3. Updates patient demographics and information in the system.
  4. Collects monies due and documents in the billing system.
  5. Handles funds according to office procedures.
  6. Answers incoming phone calls.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • One year of previous experience or some hospital clerical experience or knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Must have the skills necessary to operate office equipment required to fulfill job duties.
  • Typing skills of 45 words per minute required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and computer experience beneficial.
  • Bilingual abilities preferred.
  • Good communication skills.
