Active Spine and Joint Institute is seeking a full-time Front Desk Receptionist to join our expanding multispecialty team of Chiropractors, Occupational Therapists, Nurse Practitioners, and Exercise Specialists. The role involves being the liaison between providers and patients by explaining prescribed treatments, reviewing insurance benefits, and discussing financial responsibilities. We currently have openings at our Marmora, NJ location. The position offers 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with no weekends.

Job Responsibilities
  • Must be energetic, outgoing, and possess excellent communication skills. A people person.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, highly motivated with strong multitasking abilities.
  • Verify insurance benefits.
  • Check out new patients, schedule appointments based on treatment plans, and record re-evaluation dates.
  • Review insurance coverage and patient financial responsibilities.
  • Collect payments and prepare financial agreements.
  • Coordinate with insurance for scheduling procedures post-authorization.
  • Track treatment plans and follow up with patients.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed before patient re-evaluations.
  • Participate in team meetings and morning huddles.
Qualifications
  • Experience in insurance verification preferred but not required.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Friendly, proactive communicator willing to take initiative.
