The Greeter/Receptionist serves as the face of the Jackson Hewitt brand during periods of high client traffic. This position interacts with and engages potential and existing clients by conversing and reviewing marketing materials to create interest in making tax preparation appointments. This seasonal role also supports operational tasks such as appointment scheduling, answering phones, and check distribution, to foster a positive and efficient client experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting all potential clients in a friendly and professional manner
• Engaging in conversation with potential clients to share information about Jackson Hewitt's services, products, and promotions
• Offering promotional items to potential clients by walking the store floor or marketing to nearby local businesses
• Assisting with scheduling tax preparation appointments
• Monitoring client flow and keeping clients engaged during wait times
• Answering phones and assisting with check distribution when Tax Preparers are busy with other clients, following established procedures
