Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of healthcare registration or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cash handling.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology, preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite; RIS software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and register them, input demographic and insurance data into RIS.
• Explain forms and assist with completion; maintain confidentiality.
• Process patient payments and verify insurance benefits when needed.
• Schedule and reschedule patient appointments; generate daily invoice journal.
• Provide front office training and support.
