Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
  • Strong multitasking and communication skills.
  • Experience providing exceptional customer service.
  • Medical terminology knowledge and recent medical/radiology office experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and register patients in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
  • Verify insurance and patient information; obtain signatures and ensure documentation completeness.
  • Collect and log all co-pays and fees.
  • Answer and transfer incoming phone calls.
  • Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments and notify staff of changes.
  • Provide orientation on preparatory and safety protocols; give directions to facilities.
  • Coordinate with back-office staff for timely patient care.
  • Safeguard patient health information and on-site medications as required.
  • Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
