Job summary

Qualifications

• Three (3) years previous related experience in a large complex healthcare setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of third party payors including federal, state, and private health plans.
• Demonstrated computer skills/ability to work between multiple systems during calls.
• Ability to work in an interactive environment.
• Possess excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and assists patients, manages check-in and check-out, and schedules appointments at the clinic and other locations.
• Verifies insurance and authorizations, updates demographic information, and collects copayments.
• Audits billing documents, documents appointment dispositions, and manages the petty cash drawer.
