Responsibilities

• Completes registration process per policy and regulatory standards.
• Interviews patient or representative to obtain demographic, financial and insurance information and enters data.
• Verifies insurance coverage and benefits; assists in confirming co-pay arrangements.
• Handles revenue collection activities including co-pays and receipts; notes and tracks financial data.
• Works EPIC and other EMR systems; maintains confidentiality per HIPAA and policy.
• Maintains and protects patient data; supports front office operations and scheduling.
