Job summary

WellSpan Health in York, PA is seeking a friendly part-time receptionist to greet patients, vendors and visitors, directing them to the correct office and answering calls on a multi-line phone.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year to 1 year experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients, vendors and visitors and directs them to the proper office or area.
• Answers telephones, routes calls, takes messages and provides routine information.
• Enters and/or retrieves data from established computer files using basic software applications.
• Assists with office operations and special initiatives and projects as requested.
• Maintains appropriate records, reports, and files as required.
• If assigned to York and Gettysburg Hospital reception area: handles telegrams, flowers, newspapers and deliveries; notifies staff and ensures proper delivery.
