Job summary

UROPARTNERS LLC in Western Springs, IL is hiring a Patient Service Representative I to deliver exceptional patient care by phone and in person. You will manage front-desk operations, register patients, collect co-pays, and coordinate scheduling to ensure a smooth intake and checkout.

This is a full-time, M-F role with a starting pay range of $18.00-19.25 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, holidays, and health/dental/vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years customer service experience, preferably in a medical office.
• Knowledge of CPT/ ICD-10 coding is a plus.
• Ability to answer multiple incoming telephone calls and greet patients professionally.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and greets all patients and visitors, in person or over the phone.
• Registers new patients and updates demographics with detailed information.
• Collects outstanding patient balances and processes payments.
• Obtains referrals and authorizations when required.
• Scans incoming faxes, consents, reports, and records into patient chart.
• Generates batch transmittal reports for each day.
• Facilitates patient flow by notifying providers of arrivals and delays.
• Schedules follow-up services and office visits.
