Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine Centers is seeking a Part-Time Patient Services Coordinator to join our Groton clinic. You’ll be the first point of contact for patients, greeting them warmly, handling check-ins, scheduling, and front desk duties to support a smooth patient experience.

Ideal candidates bring healthcare front desk or administrative experience, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and comfort with EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare front desk preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Check patients in and out of their appointments
• Answer and appropriately route incoming phone calls
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
• Assist patients with registration, intake, and insurance forms
• Verify and maintain accurate patient information
• Enter and update patient information in our electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Collect copayments and other patient payments
• Communicate with patients regarding appointments, paperwork, and general questions
• Work closely with physical therapists and other clinic staff to support a smooth patient experience
• Maintain an organized, welcoming, and professional front desk environment
