This Full-Time role emphasizes a welcoming patient experience and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include insurance verification, collecting patient payments, and assisting the practice team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Administrative Assistant certificate a plus.
• 1+ year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
• Strong communication, attention to detail, ability to multitask in a busy environment
• Experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, EPIC preferred
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including some weekends and holidays
• Team player with proactive, friendly, patient-focused service

Responsibilities

• Warm Welcome: Greet and assist all patients with a positive attitude.
• Patient and Business Documentation: Maintain confidentiality while organizing documents.
• Insurance Verification: Verify eligibility and explain relevant policies.
• Financial Responsibility: Collect patient financial responsibility clearly.
• Collaborative Support: Assist practice manager, providers, and staff for smooth operations.
• Compliance: Ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance in documentation and processes.
• Travel Requirement: Travel to other Piedmont Urgent Care locations as needed.
