Hanger Clinic in Rutland, VT is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator to ensure a seamless patient experience from arrival through discharge.

You will greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, collect payments, schedule follow-ups, and support clinic services while collaborating with the Revenue Cycle Management team.

Strong communication, front desk experience, and computer proficiency are essential; a high school diploma is required, and a valid driver's license is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients upon arrival, providing information on wait times and inquiries at the front desk.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance details during check-in; handle walk-in registrations.
• Collect patient payments, including deductibles, copays, and coinsurance at the front desk.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments, including cast and measure, delivery, and prosthetic care plans.
• Serve as a liaison for clinic services, offering information on patient experience programs and resources.
• Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) team to obtain necessary patient information.
• Maintain accurate and complete electronic health records for all patients.
