This role blends front desk duties with auditing and accounting tasks, including check-in/out, posting charges, nightly reconciliation, and balancing nightly reports for a smooth overnight operation.

Position Overview

As a Night Auditor, you’ll provide exceptional overnight guest service while ensuring the accuracy of daily hotel financial and operational reports. This role combines front desk hospitality with auditing and accounting responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out and assist with reservations
• Post charges, process payments, and reconcile transactions
• Complete nightly audit procedures and balance daily reports
• Answer guest questions and provide information about hotel and local attractions
• Maintain guest confidentiality and hotel security standards
• Keep the front desk and lobby clean and organized
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn hotel systems and technology
• Ability to master front desk operations, including guest check-in/check-out, reservations, phone systems, and cash handling
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately handle financial transactions and nightly reports
• Basic accounting or bookkeeping knowledge preferred
• Ability to work independently and stay organized during overnight shifts
• Must be at least 18 years of age
