Job summary

Liv Hospitality seeks a courteous Front Desk Agent at Four Points by Sheraton Deadwood to guide guests through check-in/out, provide local information, and balance daily reports. You will handle reservations, distribute keys and discount materials, and respond to inquiries with a friendly, professional approach.

The position requires solid computer skills, familiarity with property management systems, and cash handling.

Qualifications

• Must have strong computer skills and ability to learn hotel property management system(s).
• Ability to quickly learn front desk procedures, check-in/out, selling skills, computer operations, and phone operations.
• Strong communication and listening skills; able to interact with guests and staff at all levels.
• Basic knowledge of accounting operations.
• 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for making room reservations and checking guests in and out of the hotel as needed.
• Issues room keys, pamphlets, discount cards, etc., as needed.
• Provide information to guests by answering inquiries regarding hotel and other services.
• Ensure confidentiality, security and safety of hotel guests.
• Arrange transportation for guests as needed.
• Compute bills, post charges, collect payments and make change for guests.
• Run various reports—handwritten and computer.
• Maintain cleanliness and neatness of the front desk and lobby area.
• Must wear a uniform and nametag at all times.
• Balance all daily reports for the hotel.
• Post and balance charges in a timely and efficient manner.
• Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.
