Job summary

The Le Meridien Sheraton Charlotte Hotel, operated by StepStone Hospitality, is seeking a Front Desk Agent to join our guest services team. You will warmly greet guests, check in/out, and handle inquiries while ensuring a smooth arrival and departure experience.

Responsibilities include managing reservations, conveying hotel services, coordinating with other departments, and processing payments. Flexibility for PM/AM shifts and weekends is required in this dynamic hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Must have good English communication skills.
• Ability to use office software.

Responsibilities

• Register and assign rooms to guests.
• Issue room keys and escort instructions to Guests.
• Sort and track incoming mail and messages.
• Transmit and receive messages using all communication avenues.
• Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services and directions.
• Keep record of room availability and rate.
• Compute bills, collect payments, and make change for guests.
• Make, confirm, and cancel reservations via all channels.
• Post charges to guest bills when needed.
• Make transportation or entertainment reservations for guests.
• Deposit guest valuables in hotel safe deposit box.
• Be knowledgeable of shifts including night audit and trained for front desk and hotel operator.
