Job summary

Planet Fitness in Danbury, CT is seeking a friendly Front Desk Associate to deliver excellent member service on a part-time basis. You will greet members, handle inquiries, and promote memberships and promotions, while processing payments accurately in a fast-paced gym setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least six months of in-person customer service experience (fitness experience preferred).

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Six months face to face customer service experience in a retail environment required or 1-year Fitness experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and exit members in a confident, professional, and friendly manner.
• Anticipate member's needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all members.
• Provide gracious and efficient telephone service; answer calls promptly and knowledgeably.
• Utilize strong communication and problem-solving skills to resolve customer concerns.
• Maintain club cleanliness for up to 50% of the shift.
• Deliver prompt, accurate customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Handle payments from customers and give change and receipts.
• Promote products and special promotions to customers.
• Answer questions about business procedures and policies clearly and friendly.
