Job summary

Planet Fitness Norwich, CT seeks a Part Time Front Desk Associate to greet members, answer questions, process payments and promote membership offers in a friendly, efficient manner.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, at least 18 years old, and hands-on customer service experience in retail or fitness settings. Training is provided, and a flexible schedule is required. You will maintain a clean club environment and contribute to member satisfaction through proactive service.

Qualifications

• 18 years old or older.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Six months face-to-face customer service experience in a retail environment required or 1-year Fitness experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and exit members in a confident, professional, and friendly manner.
• Anticipate member needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all members.
• Provide gracious and efficient telephone service with complete and accurate information.
• Resolve customer concerns using strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Maintain the club cleanliness for up to 50% of the shift.
• Deliver prompt, efficient service with high accuracy in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Handle payments from customers, give change and receipts.
• Promote products and promotions to drive revenue.
• Answer questions and provide information about business procedures and policies clearly.
