Job summary

Gold's Gym in Bee Cave, TX is seeking a Front Desk Team Member to warmly greet members and guests, check them in, answer questions, and direct inquiries to the right staff. You will maintain a welcoming atmosphere, manage the front-desk area, and support daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Organized, structured, and friendly coupled with a passion for fitness.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Understanding of basic cash processing procedures.
• Ability to proficiently use POS and CRM systems or any other computer programs required to meet the business needs of the club.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Must be able to work a flexible work schedule to include holidays and weekends.
• Must be able to bend, squat, and lift upwards of 50lbs repeated and stand for extended periods of time.
• Comply with all Gold's Gym policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests warmly to create a positive entrance and departure experience.
• Check members in using proper procedures and monitor check-ins.
• Assist with memberships, kiosk or computer sign-ups, and member photos.
• Process retail and concession sales at the front desk.
• Answer phone calls professionally and relay messages to management.
• Direct guests to the appropriate personal trainer or staff member.
• Maintain front desk appearance and restock supplies as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and log maintenance and safety concerns.
