Job summary

Planet Fitness in Augusta, ME is seeking a friendly Front Desk Associate to deliver exceptional member service and maintain a clean, welcoming club environment.

As a key member of the team, you will greet guests, process registrations at the desk and POS, answer questions, promote fitness programs, and help sustain Planet Fitness's Judgement Free experience.

This role requires basic computer skills, energy, punctuality and a positive attitude, with opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Positive, friendly attitude and exceptional customer service.
• Basic computer proficiency and accuracy.
• Reliability and punctuality with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests, provide exceptional customer service and make them feel welcome.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
• Check members in, tour and sign up new members, log amenities and communicate updates.
• Respond to member questions and concerns professionally.
• Process beverage or merchandise purchases on the POS system.
• Explain and promote fitness instruction classes to members and guests.
• Adhere to policies and procedures in the employee handbook.
• Maintain club cleanliness and daily operations as directed.
• Uphold integrity and security of member documents and data.
• Lead by example and communicate relevant information between staff.
