Planet Fitness - Portland ME Group is hiring a friendly front desk associate to welcome members and guests, handle inquiries, and support a clean, upbeat gym environment in Maine. You will process memberships, coordinate class information, and assist with daily operations to ensure a Judgement Free experience.

Ideal candidates bring a positive attitude, reliable attendance, and strong customer service skills to help members feel welcome and engaged across all interactions at the club.

Qualifications

• Positive friendly attitude.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Basic computer proficiency with accuracy.
• Punctuality and reliability is a must.
• Exceptional customer service skills; interact positively with members and coworkers.
• Represent Planet Fitness values: teamwork, positivity, integrity, accountability.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests and provide exceptional customer service.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions.
• Check members in, tour and sign up new members, log amenities and communicate updates.
• Explain and promote fitness classes and amenities to members and guests.
• Adhere to policies and procedures outlined in the handbook.
• Maintain front desk area, cleanliness, and organization.
• Support staff as needed and assist with inventory.
