Job summary

Baptist Urgent Care in Collierville, TN seeks an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team. You will greet patients, activate files, and support both patients and medical staff in a fast-paced urgent-care setting.

Responsibilities include answering multi-line phones, processing registrations and payments, collecting demographics, and helping with insurance information while maintaining a clean, professional environment. Prior medical office experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a medical office is preferred.
• Ability to learn and use electronic medical records (EMR) software.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and manage the registration process.
• Answer multi-line phones, file, fax, scan documents and perform daily callbacks.
• Check in and discharge patients and assist clinical staff.
• Collect insurance information, verify demographics, and process payments.
• Maintain a neat, professional environment and adhere to safety procedures.
