Job summary

Baptist Urgent Care in Olive Branch, MS is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to greet patients, activate files and support staff. The role involves checking in/out patients, handling phones, processing payments and maintaining a clean, compliant front desk.

Full-time schedule is a rotating 36-40 hour week with 12-hour shifts and potential PRN opportunities. Prior medical office experience and EMR familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in a medical office preferred.
• Ability to learn electronic medical records software.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors; guide them through registration.
• Answer multi-line phones, file, fax, scan, and callbacks.
• Check in/out patients and assist clinical staff.
• Collect insurance information, verify demographics, process payments.
• Maintain a neat, professional environment and follow safety procedures.
