Baptist Urgent Care in Olive Branch, MS is seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team. You will greet patients, help with registration, and support medical staff in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires basic computer skills and the ability to learn an electronic medical records system. Prior medical office experience is preferred, with full-time shifts and a benefit package offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic computer software and the ability to learn electronic medical records.
• Prior experience in a medical office setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors and guide them through the registration process.
• Answer multi-line phones, filing, faxing, scanning documents and completing daily patient callbacks.
• Check in and discharge patients, assist clinical staff and close the office after each shift.
• Collect insurance information, verify demographics, process payments, post balances and complete phone sheets.
• Maintain a neat and professional work environment and adhere to safety procedures.
