Job summary

Baptist Urgent Care in Olive Branch, MS is seeking experienced Medical Receptionists to join our team. Primary duties include greeting patients, registering visits, answering phones, and supporting both patients and medical staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Familiarity with basic computer software and EMR systems preferred.
• Prior medical office experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, assist with registration and directions.
• Answer multi-line phones, file, fax, scan and handle daily patient callbacks.
• Check in/out patients, assist clinical staff and close the office per shift.
• Collect insurance information, verify demographics, process payments and post balances.
• Maintain neat work area and professional appearance; follow safety procedures.
