Job summary

Erie Family Health Centers is seeking a Front Desk Medical Receptionist to be the first in-person contact for patients. You will register patients, input charges in the EMR, schedule and verify appointments, and collect payments while ensuring courteous, efficient service.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams. Bilingual ability is a plus; Erie offers a comprehensive benefits package and career

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required.
• EPIC experience a plus.
• Bilingual abilities considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Registering patients and inputting charges in the EMR.
• Schedule and verify appointments for patients.
• Collect payments at the time of service and apply fees correctly.
• Collaborate with Patient Support Services and clinical staff to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain accurate patient information and coordinate with insurance.
