Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a medical office or billing preferred.
• Knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.
• Excellent keyboard skills and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Greets and communicates with patients by phone or in person in a courteous, professional manner.
• Answers phones timely and professionally using appropriate scripting.
• Transfers calls to appropriate staff member/provider as needed.
• Schedules patient appointments based on department protocols to maximize provider productivity.
