Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England Farmington Primary Care is seeking a friendly Business Services Representative to be the first contact for patients. You will greet patients, handle registration, schedule appointments, verify insurance, and collect copays at the time of service.

In this role you will coordinate pre-authorizations and referrals, help prepare charts, and support providers in delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a medical office or billing preferred; knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred.
• Excellent keyboard skills; proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office; accuracy and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Greet and communicate with patients in person or by phone.
• Answer calls using appropriate scripting.
• Route calls to the right staff member or provider.
• Schedule patient appointments per department protocols to maximize productivity.
