Andaz San Diego is seeking a warm, energetic Front Desk Host in the Gaslamp District. You’ll greet guests, manage check-ins/outs, and tailor recommendations to create a memorable stay with a first‑class hospitality experience.

The role emphasizes seamless guest interactions, attention to detail, and collaboration with housekeeping and F&B teams to uphold the brand’s welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with genuine enthusiasm and provide seamless check‑in and check‑out experiences
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency
• Manage room assignments, reservations, and billing with accuracy and attention to detail
• Collaborate closely with housekeeping, engineering, and F&B teams to ensure smooth daily operations
• Deliver personalized recommendations on local dining, nightlife, events, and hidden gems throughout the Gaslamp Quarter
• Maintain a polished, inviting lobby atmosphere that reflects the hotel’s brand and culture
• Uphold safety, security, and confidentiality standards at all times
• Support the overall guest journey by anticipating needs and going above and beyond whenever possible
