Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring a Front Desk Agent for the AC Hotel San Diego Downtown Gaslamp Quarter. You will be the first point of contact, greeting guests, handling check-in and check-out, and delivering friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced hotel environment.

The ideal candidate brings prior front desk or guest services experience, strong communication, and a can-do attitude. Knowledge of hotel systems (Fosse) and basic Microsoft Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• Front Desk or guest services experience preferred.
• Experience with property management systems such as Fosse.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm, genuine, and professional greeting.
• Complete check-in and check-out procedures accurately.
• Verify guest information, room type, rates, and charges.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on hotel amenities and local attractions.
• Promote hotel services and upsell opportunities.
• Answer calls promptly and professionally.
• Respond to guest requests and inquiries promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, F&B, and Sales.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby.
