Job summary

Siegel Select New Orleans in New Orleans, LA is seeking a friendly Customer Service Representative to welcome residents and guests, answer inquiries, and process transactions.

You will manage room openings, post ads, handle cash and deposits, maintain records, and support daily front-desk operations in a fast-paced, people‑oriented environment. Candidates should have a HS diploma and at least 6 months of customer service experience, and be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months customer service experience.
• Legally able to work within State and Federal guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers in a friendly, positive manner as they enter the property.
• Answer phones quickly and courteously, within 3 rings.
• Knowledge of room openings and availability.
• Sell rooms to guests in person and on the telephone, including posting Craigslist ads daily.
• Accurately handle all cash and charge transactions.
• Make cash drops in the safe.
• Keep accurate records of vacant rooms and close out procedures including deposit slips and closing reports, as well as setting alarm.
• Take work orders from residents and process correctly in the system.
• Receive and distribute mail to residents.
• Maintain a clean and inviting office.
• Other duties as assigned.
