Job summary

Shaner Group in Key Largo is seeking a friendly front desk associate to welcome guests, handle check-ins and check-outs, and provide information about local attractions. You will process payments, coordinate with housekeeping, and deliver superior customer service in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Flexibility for weekends and holidays is required, and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Previous hotel experience is preferred, and computer/ POS experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior guest services during check-in/check-out; process all payments according to established hotel requirements.
• Offer information and services to guests or visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel.
• Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.
