Job summary

Shaner Group in Florida is seeking a friendly Front Desk Clerk to provide superior guest services at the lobby. You will check guests in/out, provide info, and handle payments according to hotel procedures.

Candidates should have at least one year of customer service, preferably hotel experience, and be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
• Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Process all check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements.
• Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
• Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel.
• Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.
• Other duties as assigned.
