Job summary

Generation Hospitality Group is seeking a Guest Service Representative for our Rooms team. In this hourly, full-time role, you will be the main contact for guests from arrival to departure, ensuring smooth check-in/out, addressing questions, and delivering warm, professional service at the front desk and via phone or digital channels.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong English communication, both written and verbal.
• Ability to operate a front desk and process payments.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm, efficient check-in/check-out experience and process related documentation and payments.
• Respond to guest inquiries in person, by phone, and via digital channels.
• Handle reservations, modifications, and cancellations in the property management system.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance and other departments to meet guest needs.
• Address guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
• Verify identification and payment methods per hotel policies.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming front desk and lobby area.
• Monitor room availability and status to optimize assignments.
• Follow cash handling procedures and balance cash drawers.
• Assist with group and event check-ins/check-outs.
• Communicate with team and supervisors to ensure consistent service.
• Follow safety procedures and report incidents.
