Shore Hotel in Santa Monica, CA is seeking a Front Desk Agent to greet guests, check them in and out, and deliver outstanding service for a profitable stay.

The role requires solid guest-services experience, strong communication, and the ability to up-sell hotel amenities while coordinating with all departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. Proficiency in MS Word/Excel/Outlook is expected; Opera knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of progressive experience in a Guest Services role.
• Hotel experience is preferred.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience in Opera helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and check-in/check-out using hotel computer systems and keys.
• Assist guests with payments, room charges, and accurate record-keeping.
• Provide local information and promote hotel services and packages.
• Upsell hotel services to maximize occupancy and revenue.
• Respond to inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth guest experiences.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and adhere to service standards.
