Job summary

Regent Santa Monica Beach is seeking a Front Desk Agent to be the ambassador of luxury, delivering a seamless arrival and departure experience. This role requires elegance, efficiency, and exceptional guest service, with two overnight shifts expected.

You will greet guests, pre-register arrivals, manage the Opera system, handle cash and billing accurately, answer inquiries by phone or email, and coordinate with departments to ensure a flawless stay.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a front desk or guest services role, preferably in a luxury hotel.
• Impeccable grooming and professional appearance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with sophistication and ensure a seamless arrival experience.
• Pre-register arriving guests in the Opera system for remote check-in and room escort.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and secure house bank; ensure billing accuracy at departure.
• Answer phones, respond to emails, and manage guest inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain up-to-date guest information in systems and follow up on requests or issues.
