Job summary

Sand Sea is seeking a temporary Front Desk Agent in Santa Monica, CA. You’ll greet guests, check them in and out, and help ensure a personable, enjoyable stay as part of the hotel's commitment to outstanding service.

This non-exempt, temporary position includes cash handling, upselling hotel services, coordinating with PBX and bell staff, and maintaining front desk materials. Prior guest services experience and proficiency with MS Word/Excel are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of progressive experience in a Guest Services role.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; Opera helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and perform check-in/out processes; verify information and room rates.
• Assist guests with payments, wef debit/credit, and record payments.
• Know hotel information: room types, rates, packages, local area.
